Pecan Bar Mix

You Will Need1/4 Cup (1/2 Stick) Butter or Margarine, Softened* 1/2 Cup Water 1 Egg*
oven to 350°F. Lightly grease bottom and sides of 8x8x2-inch baking pan.
together crust mix and softened butter with a fork until mixture is crumbly. Press crust mixture firmly into bottom of pan. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
pecans (enclosed) evenly over crust. Set aside. Stir filling mix, water and egg together with a whisk until blended. Immediately pour filling gently over crust and pecans. Filling will be slightly lumpy. Pecans will float to the top; gently shake pan to redistribute nuts.
28-32 minutes or until center does not jiggle when lightly shaken and top begins to brown. Cool completely. Store loosely covered at room temperature. Makes 16 bars.
FILLING INGREDIENTS: Sugar, corn syrup solids, food starch-modified, salt, canola or soybean oil, silicon dioxide (prevents caking), natural and artificial flavors (contains soy and milk derivatives), caramel color.
CRUST INGREDIENTS: Enriched bleached flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, malted barley flour, may contain enzymes, ascorbic acid), sugar, brown sugar, leavening (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate).
