Sourdough English Muffins


1, 14 oz package (3 cups) Krusteaz Sourdough
  Bread Machine Mix

1 cup + 2 tablespoons room temperature (75ºF-85ºF) water
cornmeal
Prepare dough using Krusteaz Sourdough Bread Machine Mix as directed. Transfer dough to a surface sprinkled with cornmeal. Roll to 1/4-inch thickness. Using 3 or 4-inch biscuit or cookie cutter, cut into circles. Turn to coat top side with cornmeal. Place on greased baking sheet. Cover with a cloth and let rise in a warm draft-free place 45 minutes or until double in size. Carefully lift muffins from baking sheet and cook on lightly greased 325ºF electric griddle or fry pan about 4-5 minutes on each side until deep golden brown. Cool. To serve, split and toast.
Makes 10-12 muffins.
