Primary Prep, Ingredients & Nutritional Info

Start with: 1 Cup Water.

  1. // Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly spray muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray OR line with paper baking cups.
  2. // Place water and full box muffin mix in medium bowl. Stir until moistened.
  3. // Spoon batter into prepared muffin pan, filling 2/3 full.
  4. // Bake as indicated in chart or until golden brown.

High Altitude (over 5,000 feet): Prepare as directed, adding 1 tbsp all-purpose flour and an additional 2 tbsps water.

    Reduce water to 3/4 cup & add 1/2 cup applesauce & 1/2 cup chopped dates. Bake at 400ºF for 18-20 minutes.

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Oat Bran Muffin Mix

    3/4 cup water

    1/2 cup mashed banana (1 medium)

    1/2 cup raisins

    1/2 cup chopped nuts

    Powdered sugar

    1. //Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease 11x7x2-inch pan.
    2. //In medium bowl, blend together Krusteaz Oat Bran Muffin Mix, water, banana, raisins and nuts until moistened. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
    3. //Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  • Oat Bran Pancakes

    Prep 5 min Total Time 10 min Servings 10, 5-inch pancakes

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Oat Bran Muffin Mix

    2 eggs

    1 1/2 cups milk

    1. //Preheat griddle to 375°F.
    2. //In medium bowl, stir together all ingredients until well blended. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto lightly greased and preheated griddle.
    3. //Cook pancakes 1-1 ¼ minutes per side, turning only once.
