Just three easy steps

  1. // Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease pan.
  2. // Stir together water, oil, eggs and quick bread mix until moistened. Spoon batter into pan.
  3. // Bake as directed or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; gently loosen and remove from pan.

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix (can also substitute Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Muffin Mix, baked as a loaf)

    ½ cup water

    1/3 cup vegetable oil

    4 large eggs

    1/3 cup pumpkin spice creamer (may substitute with milk)

    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

    Optional Toppings: Maple Syrup, Butter, Powdered Sugar

    1. //Prepare pumpkin bread as directed on box. Allow bread to cool and slice.
    2. //Preheat nonstick griddle to 375°F. In a small bowl, beat together two eggs, creamer and cinnamon. Dip each side of sliced bread into egg mixture and then place on griddle. Cook each side for about 1 ½ - 2 minutes.
    3. //Serve with optional toppings, if desired.
  • Pumpkin Swirl Snack Cake

    Ingredients

    Cake:

    1 package Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix

    1/2 cup water

    1/3 cup vegetable oil

    2 eggs

    Swirl:

    8 oz (1 cup) cream cheese, softened

    1 egg

    1/4 cup sugar

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Vanilla glaze (optional)

    1. //Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 13x9x2-inch pan.
    2. //For Cake: In medium bowl, blend together Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix, water, oil and 2 eggs. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Set aside.
    3. //For Swirl: Place cream cheese in separate bowl. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed for 1 minute. Add 1 egg, sugar and vanilla. Continue to mix on low speed for 1 minute or until smooth. Spoon cream cheese mixture randomly over pumpkin batter. Swirl with a knife in the shape of large circles.
    4. //Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Drizzle with vanilla glaze, if desired. For Vanilla Glaze: Whisk together 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon water and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth.
  • Triple Layer Pumpkin Cake

    Ingredients

    Cake:

    1/2 cup water

    1/3 cup vegetable oil

    2 eggs

    1 package Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix

    Cream Cheese Icing:

    8 oz (1 cup) cream cheese, softened

    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

    1 cup powdered sugar

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    1. //Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 15x10-inch jelly roll pan.
    2. //For Cake: In medium bowl, blend together water, oil, eggs and Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix until moistened. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
    3. //Bake 13-16 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Allow to cool. Cut cake into 3 even pieces, approximately 5x10-inches each. Set aside.
    4. //For Cream Cheese Icing: Place cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla in medium bowl. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed until smooth. To frost, place one cake layer onto serving plate. Spread half of icing over cake layer, leaving sides unfrosted. Place second layer over iced layer and spread with remaining icing. Top with third cake layer. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Store in refrigerator.
  • Vanilla Sauced Pumpkin Cake

    2/3 cup water

    1/2 cup vegetable oil

    Vanilla Sauce:

    2 cups whipping cream

    1 cup sugar

    2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

    1/2 cup butter

    1 tsp vanilla

    1. //For Cake: Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 13x9-inch pan.
    2. //Stir together water, oil, eggs and quick bread mix until blended. Spoon batter into pan.
    3. //Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    4. //For Vanilla Sauce: Stir together cream, sugar and flour in saucepan; cook over low heat until smooth. Add butter and cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until butter is melted and mixture begins to boil. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture is slightly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Serve warm.
