Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 9-inch spring form pan.
Stir together water, oil, eggs, almond extract and muffin mix until blended. Gently stir in undrained cranberries into batter.
Spoon batter into pan. Arrange plum slices evenly over batter.
Bake 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Makes 12 servings.
