Banana Vanilla Wafer Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch Krusteaz Vanilla Cupcake Batter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Banana extract
  • 1-2 Medium bananas, sliced in thin rounds
  • 8 oz Vanilla wafers

Directions

STEP 1

Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 9-inch round cake pan.

STEP 2

Cut pouch open at top corner.

STEP 3

In a medium bowl, squeeze the entire pouch of batter into the bowl and stir in the banana extract.

STEP 4

Place a layer of vanilla wafers into the prepared pan.

STEP 5

Dollop half of the batter over the wafers and spread it evenly.

STEP 6

Place a layer of sliced bananas over the batter. Dollop the remaining batter over the bananas and spread it evenly.

STEP 7

Top the batter with another layer of sliced bananas. Coarsely crumble the remaining vanilla wafers and sprinkle them over the top of the cake.

STEP 8

Bake for 45-55 minutes. Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting or removing it from the pan.
