Cherry Filled Lemon Bars

Ingredients

  • FILLING
  • 1 pouch Krusteaz® Meyer Lemon Bar Filling
  • ⅓ cup Water
  • 3 Eggs
  • 21 oz can Cherry pie filling
  • CRUST
  • 1 pouch Krusteaz® Meyer Lemon Bar Crust
  • 3 tbsp Butter, melted
  • Topping Powdered sugar

Directions

STEP 1

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom and sides of 8x8-inch pan.

STEP 2

Whisk water, eggs and Meyer lemon filling mix until well blended. Set aside.

STEP 3

Stir crust mix and melted butter until crumbly dough forms. Press dough firmly and evenly into bottom of pan.

STEP 4

Bake 12-14 minutes.

STEP 5

Spread cherry pie filling over hot crust.

STEP 6

Whisk filling mixture again and pour over cherry filling.

STEP 7

Bake 28-30 minutes or until edges begin to brown.

STEP 8

For ease of cutting, chill at least 1 hour. Store in refrigerator.

STEP 9

Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
