Confetti Sprinkle Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • CUPCAKES Krusteaz Ready to Bake Vanilla Cupcake Batter
  • 1 18 oz pouch
  • ½ cup Multi-colored sprinkles
  • FROSTING
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) Butter, softened
  • 3 cups Powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsps Heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Multi-colored sprinkles

Directions

STEP 1

Cut batter pouch open at top corner. Squeeze batter into medium bowl.

STEP 2

Stir sprinkles into batter.

STEP 3

Scoop batter into muffin pan, filling cups ⅔ full.

STEP 4

Bake 18-23 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

STEP 5

Cool completely before frosting.

STEP 6

For Frosting: Beat butter with an electric mixer until creamy.

STEP 7

Gradually, about ½ cup at a time, add powdered sugar, waiting until completely mixed before adding more.

STEP 8

With mixer on medium-low speed, add heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time. Once ingredients are well incorporated, gradually increase speed to high and beat for about 30 seconds.

STEP 9

Add vanilla extract and stir well.

STEP 10

Pipe or spread frosting over cooled cupcakes. Top each cupcake with ½ tablespoon sprinkles.
