Peanut Brownie Torte

Ingredients

  • TORTE
  • 1 package Krusteaz® Gluten Free Double Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • ⅓ cup Water
  • ⅓ cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Chopped peanuts
  • PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING
  • ½ cup Creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup Butter, softened
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • Chopped peanuts (optional)

Directions

STEP 1

Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease 9-inch round cake pan.

STEP 2

Torte: In medium bowl, stir together Krusteaz Gluten Free Double Chocolate Brownie Mix, water, oil, egg, and peanuts until well blended. Spoon batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake 48-52 minutes. Cool completely.

STEP 3

Peanut Butter Frosting: Place peanut butter and butter in medium bowl. Using an electric mixer, mix on medium speed 2 minutes or until blended. Add powdered sugar and milk; mix on low speed 4 minutes or until light and fluffy. Spread frosting evenly over top of cooled torte. Garnish with chopped peanuts.
