Tomato & Cheese Squares
1 package Krusteaz Italian Herb Bread Mix
1 cup room temperature water
1 packet yeast, enclosed
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
4 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 cup (4 oz package) softened cream cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano or basil
1 clove garlic, minced
- // Place bread mix, water and yeast in bread machine pan. Select dough cycle. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface and coat with olive oil. Let rest 10 minutes. Press into lightly greased 13x9x2-inch pan. Let rest an additional 10 minutes.
- // Preheat oven to 375°F. Top with 1 cup mozzarella cheese and sliced Roma tomatoes; set aside. In small bowl, blend together cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano or basil, garlic and remaining mozzarella cheese. Drop mixture by spoonfuls over tomatoes and gently spread out.
