Vanilla Sauced Pumpkin Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 package Krusteaz® Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • ⅔ cup Water
  • ½ cup Vegetable oil
  • VANILLA SAUCE
  • 2 cups Whipping cream
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Directions

STEP 1

For Cake: Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 13x9-inch pan.

STEP 2

Stir together water, oil, eggs and quick bread mix until blended. Spoon batter into pan.

STEP 3

Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

STEP 4

For Vanilla Sauce: Stir together cream, sugar and flour in saucepan; cook over low heat until smooth. Add butter and cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until butter is melted and mixture begins to boil. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture is slightly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Serve warm.
