Waffle Charcuterie Board

Ingredients

  • WAFFLES
  • 1½ cups Krusteaz® Belgian Waffle Mix
  • ⅔ cup Cold water
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • Cooking spray
  • BOARD IDEAS
  • Maple syrup, fresh berries
  • Cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onions, dill
  • Nut butter, sliced bananas, chopped bacon
  • Applesauce, sausage, grated cheddar
  • Sliced strawberries, chocolate sauce, whipped cream

Directions

STEP 1

Heat and lightly grease waffle iron.

STEP 2

Measure mix by lightly spooning it into measuring cup and leveling it off.

STEP 3

Whisk mix, water, egg and oil until smooth. Let batter stand 2 minutes.

STEP 4

Pour about 2/3 cup batter onto waffle iron.

STEP 5

Cook waffles until steaming stops or until golden brown.

STEP 6

Cut waffles into sticks and hold warm until board is set up and ready to serve.
