With its rich, sweet flavor, our Gluten Free Honey Cornbread is a real multi-tasker: perfect for traditional cornbread, in a skillet, or as a corn muffin.

Primary Prep, Ingredients & Nutritional Info

Start with: 1 cup milk, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg

Just three easy steps

  1. // Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease baking pan.
  2. // Stir together milk, oil, egg and cornbread mix until moistened. Spoon batter into pan or fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
  3. // Bake as directe or until light golden brown. For muffins, cool 5 minutes; gently loosen and remove from pan. Cool completely and store in tightly covered container.

*For glass pan, add 5 minutes to bake time.

High Altitude (over 5,000 feet): Prepare as directed, adding 2 tablespoons cornstarch and an additional 1 tablespoon milk.

    Filling:

    3 cans (15 oz each) your favorite style chili

    Cornbread:

    1 package Krusteaz Gluten Free Honey Cornbread Mix

    1/2 cup water

    1/3 cup vegetable oil

    1 egg

    1 cup shredded Mexican Cheddar blend cheese

    1. //Preheat oven to 375°F.
    2. //Filling: Spoon chili into a 12-inch oven-safe skillet or 13x9x2-inch pan. Set aside.
    3. //Cornbread: Place Krusteaz Gluten Free Honey Cornbread Mix, water, oil, egg and cheese in a medium bowl; stir until well blended. Spoon cornbread batter over chili in large spoonfuls.
    4. //Bake 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • Gluten Free Double Corn & Ham Bake

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Gluten Free Honey Cornbread Mix

    1 can (8 1/2 oz) niblet corn, drained

    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

    1/3 cup sour cream

    1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

    2 cups cubed ham

    1. //Preheat oven to 350°F.
    2. //In large bowl, stir together all ingredients until well blended. Pour into lightly greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
    3. //Bake 48-52 minutes. Top with additional cheddar cheese, if desired. Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
  • Spicy Garden Cornbread Muffins

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Gluten Free Honey Cornbread Mix

    1 cup milk

    1/3 cup vegetable oil

    1 egg

    1 cup chopped peppers, (red, yellow, orange or green)

    1/3 cup chopped onions

    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    2 teaspoons cayenne pepper, or to taste

    1. //Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a standard muffin pan.
    2. //Place all ingredients in a medium bowl; stir until well blended. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups filling 2/3 full.
    3. //Bake 16-18 minutes or until light golden brown.
