Primary Prep, Ingredients & Nutritional Info

Start with: 2/3 Cup Water, 1 Egg.

  1. // Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 8x8x2-inch baking pan.
  2. // Stir together water, egg and cake mix until moistened. (Batter will be slightly lumpy.) Spoon half of batter into pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon topping over batter.
  3. // Drop remaining batter in small spoonfuls over topping layer and spread to pan edge. Sprinkle remaining topping evenly over batter.
  4. // Bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. For glass pan, add 5 minutes to bake time. Cool 5-10 minutes before cutting. Makes 12 servings.

High Altitude (over 5,000 feet): Prepare as directed, adding 2 tbsps all-purpose flour and an additional 1 tbsp water.

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Cinnamon Crumb Cake Mix (1 pouch each cake mix and cinnamon topping)

    4 cups frozen mixed berries (including blueberries, blackberries and raspberries)

    6 tablespoons butter or margarine, cut into pieces

    1 cup old fashioned oats

    1 tablespoon water

    1. //Preheat oven to 350°F.
    2. //In large bowl, gently toss together berries and 1/2 cup crumb cake mix. Spoon berry mixture into an ungreased 10-inch deep-dish pie pan. In separate bowl, place remaining Krusteaz Cinnamon Crumb Cake Mix, 1 pouch cinnamon topping, butter or margarine, oats and water. Using an electric mixer, mix on medium speed until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle topping over berry mixture.

    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

    1/4 cup all-purpose flour

    4 apples, peeled and thinly sliced

    1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

    Vanilla ice cream (optional)

    1. //Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 13x9x2-inch pan.
    2. //Place full pouch Krusteaz Cinnamon Crumb Cake Mix, butter and flour in large bowl. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed until dough forms. Press dough evenly into prepared pan. Top with apple slices. In small bowl, stir together 1 pouch cinnamon topping and nuts. Sprinkle over apples.
    3. //Bake 40-45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.

    1/2 cup water

    1 medium apple, peeled and chopped (about 1 cup)

    2/3 cup water

    1. //Preheat oven to 350°F. Line muffin pan with paper baking cups.
    2. //Stir together water egg and Krusteaz Cinnamon Crumb Cake Mix until moistened. Gently fold in 1/2 pouch (1/2 cup, packed) cinnamon topping. Spoon batter evenly into muffin cups. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon topping over batter, about 1 -2 teaspoons each muffin. Gently press in topping with back of spoon.
    3. //Bake 23-25 minutes. Allow muffins to cool 2 - 3 minutes. Carefully loosen and remove from pan to wire rack. Store cooled muffins in tightly covered container.

We love the Cinnamon Swirl Crumb Cake & Muffin mix! We take it on all our camping trips as a breakfast item. To ease the preparation we mix everything together, instead of layering, and throw it in the over. It's super yummy!
