Just three easy steps

  1. // Heat pancake griddle to 375°F (medium heat). Lightly grease griddle.
  2. // Stir pancake mix and water together with a wire whisk. Batter will be slightly lumpy. (Do not overmix.) Let batter stand 2 minutes. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto griddle.
  3. // Cook pancakes 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 minutes per side, or until golden brown, turning only once.

High Altitude: No adjustment necessary.

    Ingredients

    2 cups Krusteaz Heart Healthy Buttermilk Pancake Mix

    1 1/2 cups water

    3/4 cup granola cereal, divided

    1. //Preheat griddle to 375°F (medium heat). Lightly grease.
    2. //In medium bowl, whisk together Krusteaz Heart Healthy Buttermilk Pancake Mix and water until blended. (Batter will be lumpy.) Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto prepared griddle.
    3. //Cook 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 minutes. Before flipping pancakes, top with 2 tablespoons granola. Carefully flip pancakes and continue to cook 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Lemon Crepes

    Ingredients

    1 cup Krusteaz Heart Healthy Buttermilk Pancake Mix

    1 cup nonfat milk

    2 egg whites

    1 tablespoon lemon zest

    1/2 cups lowfat lemon yogurt, divided

    Powdered sugar (optional)

    1. //Heat small skillet over medium heat and lightly grease.
    2. //In medium bowl, whisk together Krusteaz Heart Healthy Buttermilk Pancake Mix, milk, egg whites and lemon zest until blended. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter per crepe into skillet.
    3. //Cook 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 minutes on each side. Transfer to serving plate and fill with yogurt. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
  • Peanut Butter & Banana Pancakes

    1 1/2 cups water

    1/4 cup peanut butter

    2 bananas

    2. //In medium bowl, whisk together Krusteaz Heart Healthy Buttermilk Pancake Mix, water and peanut butter until blended. (Batter will be lumpy.) Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto prepared griddle.
    3. //Cook 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 minutes. Before flipping pancakes, top with 4-5 banana slices. Carefully flip pancakes and continue to cook 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Toasted Pecan Cranberry Pancakes
