Easy Apple Cobbler

Ingredients
1 cup Krusteaz Buttermilk Protein Flapjack & Waffle Mix
¼ cup butter, melted
1 cup milk
½ cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups thinly sliced, peeled and cored apples of your choice (Gala works well!)
¼ cup brown sugar
- // Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Liberally grease an 8x8" cake pan. Set aside.
- // In a large bowl, combine the flapjack mix, egg, melted butter, milk, sugar, and spices with a whisk until smooth. Batter will be thin. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, toss together the sliced apples and the brown sugar until coated. Sprinkle the apple and sugar mixture evenly over the top of the batter in the pan.
- // Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the cobbler is golden brown and set. Cool for about 15-20 minutes before serving. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
