Belgian Waffle : 5 Reviews

I just got a Belgian waffle maker. I tried using pancake mix but the waffles came out soggy. As I was browsing the pancake aisle in the grocery store, I came across this waffle mix. I thought let's try it. I love it. The waffles come out perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I will never go back to using regular pancake mix.

Can I refrigerate leftover batter, and if so, for how long? Any info appreciate. Thanks.

Hi Mandy! Yes, you can refrigerate your leftover batter. You will want to keep it in a sealed container in the refrigerator no longer than 12 hours. That way, you can make waffles for breakfast and then dinner! Enjoy!

Recently, my boyfriend purchased a Belgian waffel maker and brought home a box of Krusteaz Belgian Waffel mix for me to satisfy his craving for chicken and waffles. I'd never heard of Krusteaz before. My boyfriend assured me it was the best, but I was not a believer. How was this waffel mix any different from every other pancake/waffel mix?! My boyfriend was right and I made the best tasting, picture perfect waffels I'd ever had! I will never make a waffel with anything but Krusteaz from now on.

I had been using olive oil and also sweetened soy milk instead of water, and then I tried using organic coconut oil. Just wow! Add in some over-ripe banana (1 will work for up to 4 waffles), a few chocolate chips, and top with any syrup and whipped cream - and it is the easiest, most decadent waffle you've ever had! Coconut-banana-chocolate awesomeness - enjoy. Of course you can vary any of these, but I'm lovin' this every weekend.
