Primary Prep, Ingredients & Nutritional Info

Start with: 1/2 Cup Water, 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil, 3 Eggs.

  1. // Heat oven to 400˚F. Lightly grease pan or line mun pan with paper baking cups.
  2. // Stir together water, oil, eggs and mun mix until moistened. Fill mun cups 2/3 full. For loaf, spread batter into prepared loaf pan.
  3. // Bake as directed below or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; gently loosen and remove from pan. Store cooled muns in tightly covered container.

High Altitude (over 5,000 feet): Prepare as directed, adding an additional 1 tablespoon water.

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix

    1/2 cup water

    1/3 cup vegetable oil

    3 eggs

    1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

    1. //Heat oven to 400°F. Line muffin pan with paper baking cups.
    2. //Stir together water, oil, eggs, berries and Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix until moistened. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
    3. //Bake 16-18 minutes or 18-20 minutes if using frozen berries. Cool 5 minutes; gently loosen and remove from pan. Store cooled muffins in tightly covered container.
  • Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix

    1/2 cup water

    1/2 cup chocolate chips

    2. //Stir together water, oil, eggs, chocolate chips and Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix until moistened. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.

  • Double Banana Nut Dessert

    Prep 15 min Total Time 1 hr Servings 12

    Ingredients

    Cobbler:

    1 package Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix, divided

    1 cup milk

    1/2 cup melted butter

    4 medium bananas, sliced

    2 tablespoons honey

    2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, optional

    Topping:

    1/3 cup brown sugar

    1/2 cup butter, softened

    1 cup oatmeal

    1/2 cup chopped walnuts

    1. //Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease 13x9x2-inch pan.
    2. //For Cobbler: In medium bowl, stir together 2 cups Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix, milk and butter until blended. Pour batter into prepared pan. Layer sliced bananas over batter. Top with honey and cinnamon, if desired.
    3. //For Topping: In small bowl, add remaining Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix, brown sugar, butter, oatmeal and nuts; stir until crumbly. Sprinkle topping over bananas. Bake 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Maple Banana Pull-Aparts

    Prep 30 min Total Time 3 hrs Servings 20

    Ingredients

    1 package Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix

    1/2 cup warm water

    1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

    1/3 cup oil

    3 eggs

    1 teaspoon cinnamon

    1/2 cup all-purpose flour

    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

    1 cup maple syrup

    1/2 cup chopped walnuts

    1. //In medium bowl, stir together Krusteaz Banana Nut Muffin Mix, water, yeast, oil, eggs and cinnamon until well blended. Add flour; stir for 20 strokes. Let rest for minimum two hours (or up to 10 hours) in warm place.
    2. //Preheat oven to 350°F. In 13x9x2-inch baking pan, heat butter, maple syrup and nuts until butter is melted. With rounded tablespoons, place dough in warm pan.
    3. //Bake 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown. Serve immediately. Turn onto platter or serve in baking dish.
