This recipe starts with a rich gluten free brownie base and layers on a peanut butter filling and rich chocolate ganache. BROWNIE LAYER
1 box Krusteaz Gluten Free Double Chocolate Brownie Mix
⅓ cup Water
½ cup Vegetable oil
1 Egg
PEANUT BUTTER LAYER
1 cup Powdered sugar
½ cup Creamy peanut butter
4 tbsps Unsalted butter, softened
GANACHE
½ cup Chocolate chips
3 tbsps Unsalted butter, softened
STEP 1

Heat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease 8x8-inch pan.

STEP 2

Stir together water, oil and egg until combined. Add brownie mix and stir until well-blended.

STEP 3

Spoon batter into pan and spread evenly. For best results, let batter sit in pan for 5 minutes before baking.

STEP 4

Bake 48-52 minutes. Cool completely.

STEP 5

For Peanut Butter Layer: Combine powdered sugar, peanut butter and 4 tablespoons butter together until smooth and creamy. Spread evenly over cooled brownies.

STEP 6

For Ganache: Place chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons butter in microwave-safe bowl and microwave until melted, about 30-45 seconds. Stir until smooth. Spread over peanut butter layer. Let ganache set before cutting and serving.
