1 box Krusteaz Gluten Free Double Chocolate Brownie Mix
1/3 cup Water
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
1 Egg
16 whole Strawberries, washed, dried and with leafy tops cut off
Whipped cream or white frosting
STEP 1

Heat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease 8x8-inch baking pan.

STEP 2

Stir together water, oil and egg until combined. Add brownie mix and stir until well-blended.

STEP 3

Spoon batter into pan and spread evenly. For best results, let batter sit in pan for 5 minutes before baking.

STEP 4

Bake 48-52 minutes. Cool completely before cutting or removing from pan.

STEP 5

Cut brownies into 16, 2x2-inch squares. (Or cut brownies with a 1 ½-inch round biscuit cutter.)

STEP 6

Top each square with a dollop of whipped cream or frosting. Place one strawberry on topping with point facing up. Add a tiny dollop of cream/frosting at the tip to create Santa hat.

Repurpose brownie scraps by crumbling them up to use as a delicious topping for ice cream sundaes.
