Indulge in a tantalizing twist on classic seafood tacos with our Pancake Beer Battered Shrimp/ Fish Tacos. Crispy golden shrimp or fish are coated in a unique blend of pancake batter and beer creating a perfectly light and fluffy texture that pairs harmoniously with the zesty flavors of fresh salsa creamy avocado or a tangy lime crema.
STEP 1
Start with 1 Cup of @krusteaz mix and add a dash of paprika and chili powder. Fold it in until it’s evenly spread throughout.
STEP 2
Take your pieces or fish and shrimp and lightly coat them in the dry mix, then put to the side.
STEP 3
Add 2/3 Cup of Beer, whisk, and turn that mix into your batter
STEP 4
Heat up oil in a deep pot/pan to 350F (check with a thermometer/add a small sprinkle of water to test for that sizzle sound)
STEP 5
Coat your seafood in that batter and carefully drop into the bath of oil
STEP 6
Cook the fish for about 5-6 minutes and shrimp for 3-4 minutes until golden brown
STEP 7
Make your tacos with any toppings of your choice. I added Chipotle Aioli, Guacamole, and Mango Salsa
STEP 8
If you want to make your own Mango Salsa, I used: 1 Mango, 1/4 Red Onion, Tomatoes, 1 Jalapeño, Cilantro, 1.5 Limes, -Salt & Pepper
