Praline Waffles a la Mode
3 cups Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix
1/3 cup oil
1 1/2 cups water
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
Vanilla ice cream
- // Heat and lightly grease Belgian or conventional waffle iron.
- // For Waffles: In medium bowl, blend together Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix, eggs, oil and water with a wire whip. Batter will be slightly lumpy. Pour batter onto prepared waffle iron.
- // Cook waffles 3-4 minutes until golden brown, or according to waffle iron directions.
- // For Topping: In small bowl, blend together brown sugar, pecans and butter or margarine. Place waffles on baking sheet. Spread topping on waffles. Bake at 400°F 5-8 minutes or until topping has melted. Serve with ice cream.
