Berries & Cream Coffee Cake

School is in session and a Berries & Cream Coffee Cake is the perfect morning treat or even an afternoon snack to welcome the kids home after a long day in the classroom! This Berries & Cream Coffee Cake will help your fundraising efforts in upcoming bake sales too. All you need is Krusteaz's Coffee Cake mix and a handful of pantry staples to make it happen.
Prep Time: 5-7 minutes
Total Time: 50-60 minutes

Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh berries of your choice (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc)
- 1 package Krusteaz Cinnamon Crumb Cake Mix
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 9x9x2 baking pan. Set aside.
2. Stir together water, egg, berries, cake mix and cinnamon topping until moistened. (Batter will be slightly lumpy.) Spoon batter into pan and spread evenly.
3. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla. Drop cream cheese mixture in small spoonfuls over batter and swirl with a knife to blend i
4. Bake 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. For glass pan, add 5 minutes to bake time.
