Blueberry Frosted Cookies

These soft and chewy Blueberry Frosted Cookies are a delicious treat for any occasion. Made with Krusteaz Gluten Free Wild Blueberry Muffin Mix they’re quick and easy to make and the creamy vanilla frosting takes them to the next level!

COOKIES:
1 Package Krusteaz Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin Mix
1/2 Cup (1 Stick) Unsalted butter, softened
1 Egg
2 Tbsp Lemon zest
FROSTING:
1/2 Cup (4 Oz) Cream Cheese, room temperature
1/4 Cup Powdered sugar
1 Tbsp Milk
1 Can Blueberries (enclosed), drained and rinsed
STEP 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

STEP 2

For Cookies: In medium bowl, stir together Krusteaz Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin Mix, butter, egg and lemon zest until well blended. Scoop 2 rounded tablespoons dough and place 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Press down slightly.

STEP 3

Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown around edges.

STEP 4

For Frosting: In medium bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and milk with hand mixer until fluffy; gently stir in blueberries. Frost cool cookies. Store in airtight container.
